My wife and I are the proud parents of 4 fantastic kids, 3 of them are graduates of Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and one is a graduate of University of Virginia (Go WaHoos!). We also have two amazing grandkids.
I have officially been in the car business since the age of 14 during the summer months and after school. My dad made sure that I did a training program that included all dealership departments. I was a technician for about 20 years and finished with the Master Level Technician on Volkswagen, Volvo and Jaguar. With the help of a few mentors, I entered into management and became a Service Manager, Service Director and Fixed Operations Director.
My interest grew in the Sales department and I transitioned over to the position of Sales. Once again with the help and patience of several mentors, I graduated to various management positions that included Sales Manager, Finance Manager and General Manager.
On April fool’s day in 2013, I accepted an opportunity to become President and General Manager of Virginia Select Auto. At that time, it was just an idea on paper. With the help of many great minds, the idea quickly became a reality and the dream of a lifetime came true.
